I’m Assunta and my journey has evolved over the years and continues to do so as I evolve and continue to follow my soul path that is at times unclear and shaking my faith as I am sure so many can understand . . .

My background has evolved from working to going to University which didn’t work out as I didn’t exactly know what I wanted to do, which led to a career in retail after an incredible month in New York I began to realise there has to be more to life than what I was doing.
This led me to study for a Diploma in Beauty Therapy where I was told I would never find work and then at graduation, I won a scholarship to study and work onboard a Cruise Ship! This was one of my first moments listening to my intuition, trusting, and knowing this was aligned. It was an empowering moment to see my hard work and those who thought I was making a mistake become a reality.
I was able to combine my passions of working as an aesthetician and travelling to see some of the most beautiful parts of the world. Since then I have been blessed to work at some incredible 5-star Hotels within London and Australia.
Naturally drawn to the holistic side of the industry, I dived into various learnings and courses after my Spiritual awakening in 2018 to understand more about life and the realm we live in. I continue reading and studying …I believe it’s how we challenge ourselves and grow.
The calling came to support others on their journey to grow and heal themselves as I become more sensitive and connected to the earth's elements. I am eternally grateful to work as a Reiki and Sound Healer to help others help themselves, it’s not something I take for granted.
For my creativity and expression, I have been making jewellery since 2017 beginning on my mum’s kitchen table after leaving London in 2017. We would have a stall at a Sunday Market in the Docklands, Melbourne to sell jewellery which at the time was costume jewellery and a bit of everything!
Fast forward to 2021 - 2022 as I delved deeper into my Spiritual practices and my Saturn Return came to an end the idea for ECLECTIC SOULS was born. A more grown-up and mature brand with a clearer sense of self emerged, with core values of compassion, kindness, honesty, and integrity mixed with a little sassiness at the heart of the brand.

What is sound healing?

Sound is all around us from the gentle waves crashing against the shore to the sound of rain, to gusts of wind these are Mother Earth’s gifts allowing us to naturally ground ourselves daily.

When we talk about sound healing we are talking about an Ancient healing modality with origins a mixture of East and West from India, Egypt, and China. As humans, we are made up of 70% water making us a perfect conductor to allow the vibrations of instruments such as crystal singing bowls, gong, wind chimes, handpan and many other instruments to work within the body and move our energy around.

These sound frequencies promote deep relaxation, allowing the body’s nervous system to rebalance and rest, allowing an emotional release to take place. This then has a healing effect on our whole Mind, Body, and Spirit connection - treating all aspects.
