Q. How do I prepare for my session?

A.You will receive a precare email to prepare for your session, but wearing comfy loose clothing to help you relax. An open mind and letting go of any expectations of what to expect during your session, each persons healing journey is unique for them and you will have your own unique experience. Avoiding caffeine and alcohol leading up to your session and eating a light meal or snack up to one hour before.

Q. What does a session involve?

A.In person and online sessions work in similar ways, we will begin with a chat, for a better understanding of what is going on and what you need.  For the energy healing part, you will be lying down fully clothed with your eyes closed so you can relax fully. The Reiki healing will involve some touch, non-touch techniques whilst you are laying on your back. You may notice different sensations of heat, tingles, relaxation - this is different for everyone. You will be guided to come back to your breath when you find your mind wandering, this is perfectly normal and afterwards we will share what comes up for you.

Q. What is distance Reiki?

A. In the session we discuss what you are seeking and how this Reiki can benefit you, we will connect energetically face to face in the online session. Even if you don’t know what the problem is, we will read your energy to figure out where we should focus. You are more than welcome to turn your camera off during the session and then afterwards talk about what came up for you. A crystal grid that is used during the session will be left for 24 hours allowing the healing to continue.

Q. How will I feel after the healing session?

A.Everyone is very different and reacts to the shifts in their unique way. However, most people feel a sense of deep relaxation, feeling lighter, recharged, and invigorated. There are sessions when you may feel tired, and also note that shifts can bring up a lot of emotions and crying can occur, or perhaps feelings of frustration and this perfectly normal also as you have shift those stagnant energies.

Remember there is no right or wrong way to “feel” each session will be unique for you, taking away pressure to feel a certain way is key and paramount.

Over the coming days drink plenty of water and take note of your thoughts or dreams, as these hold insights into your healing.

Q. How many sessions will I need?

A.If you’ve never had any healing before then an initial 90 minute treatment will be recommended to include a comprehensive consultation to workout your needs. One session will provide a small shift but a course of 3 or 6 sessions is recommended in order to create significant progress and changes and create those positive shifts.

We also suggest that you incorporate energy healing into a regular well-being routine and we can chat about this and create a plan and ideas for you on how to begin this journey.

A.For individual treatments you can cancel with full refund, or reschedule up to 24 hours before your appointment time if you email us at hello@assuntafrench.com After this time no refunds are given.

For packages, we do not offer refunds, but you can reschedule your appointment time up to 24 hours before.
